"Perfect Rural Hideaway"

If you want to see the real rural Italy away from the main tourist trail Case Rosse is the ideal spot. Calabria is one of the hidden gems of the Italian West coast, letting you experience the 'real' Italian lifestyle/

The property is set up for a relaxing holiday with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, relaxing living room and well equipped kitchen accommodation. A large private garden and shaded terrace complete with magnificent sea views are a real bonus. If you want throbbing night life and lots of Brits this is not for you! But if you want relaxing time away from it all try Case Rosse and see Italy in a new light.

"Beautiful views - home from home"

I stayed at Case Rosse for a wonderful week in June. Reaching the villa from Lamezia Terme is a simple drive along the coast road.

The villa is stocked with absolutely everything that anyone could want a real home from home. The 3 double bedrooms were clean and comfortable.
The views from the large balcony were breathtaking and the outside seating was more than adequate.
The garden was well maintained and sitting outside on the patio eating my breakfast surrounded by Oleander bushes was something to remember during cold summers at home.
The villa has a central glass atrium which adds to the air of spaciousness and adds extra light
The communal pool was warm and welcoming. When I stayed it was very quiet and peaceful as it is a very small exclusive development.
I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful holiday with all the comforts of home.
There are lots of local towns and beaches a very short drive from the villa. There are markets in Belvedere and Diamante that sell everything.On route to the villa from the airport are lots of supermarkets. I recommend the Lidl in Amatea to stock up on your way to the villa

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks, we travelled with grandparents, children aged 10 and 13 years and real Italy fans. The villa was spotless and very well equipped with lots of space inside and out very private and quiet.The pool was also very clean plenty of seating spaces and large enough even when other families were there.There are plenty of beaches nearby,the one in the town we thought the best beautiful clear blue sea very safe for children,great bar for a peroni or icecream. I have no problem recommending this villa to everyone,we definitely will go back their. Thank- you Nick for all your help and advice prior to our trip.

“A perfect introduction to Calabria”

Case Rosse is a perfect location to get to know Calabria, it has some lovely little towns and fishing villages up and down the coat. You don't have to go far to find somewhere interesting and picturesque . As a regular traveller to Italy my first trip to Calabria was enhanced by this beautiful villa overlooking the sea and mountains, views were stunning, the locals friendly, the food fantastic. I recommend Diamanté for sandy beaches and for something a little livelier try Scalea at night, it's about 30 km south of Case Rosse. Thanks Nick and Amanda for sharing it with us. We will be back.

We stayed there for two weeks in August, the weather was great, the house was spacious and really comfortable. The kids (3 of them) really enjoyed the pool and being on a small private development it felt really safe. Everywhere was clean most of the houses are only a few years old.
Quite close to the beaches with some nice bars and restaurants. Good supermarket is about 4 miles away.
Close enough to Naples and Pompei to visit in the day but its better to stay over.

A tip though is take a SAT NAV it makes exploring the surrounding area loads easier.

All in all a great place to stay
Thank you for all your help before the visit and we found the villa very easily. It was a very comfortable stay and very well equipped. A fantastic property.
